Hello 2016!

2015 was a good year for me in terms of painting. I spent time on reading blogs, watching videos and practising new things and most importantly I seem to have improved from where I was at the beginning of the year, I am happy.

Thank you and good bye 2015. 2016 - I welcome you with open arms - may this year be the year of peace and wisdom for the world.

Coming to this painting, when I started with charcoal - I had planned to paint the most colorful things on the earth in black and white - like a flower, like a butterfly and ...like a Kathakali Dancer. So here is the face of the Kathakali dancer, this time in charcoal.

Technically, nothing much to add. Bro says if my charcoal spree continues like this I soon will become color blind! It is impossible to break someone's head over skype, but the thought is very scary I must admit.
