Since the day I am diagnosed with weird nasal problems and am on medication - I am steering clear of charcoals. But I am long due to do a portrait of a friend on mine - who not only possess a pretty face but also nurtures a beautiful mind! Like many other occasions in my life - I was bestowed with her unconditional affection when I think I needed it very badly - but did not expect in the slightest! However, I attempted a sketch which I intended to do in sepia tone but could not resist the urge to use the color pink.
I am not sure what to say – Literally spell bound. I have tears in my eyes - seeing the reflection of my own image, knowing the time you spent making it, and the reading the reason you made this. It just reminds me of one thing – the kind person you are. You are the kind one Sudeepta. You find sweetness in others to bring joy. All I have done to earn this was being me. You are the one who takes time to find kindness in others. No one has ever done anything remotely like this for me and I am just so touched and overwhelmed.

It is you who is born with a golden heart, a genuine real heart made of gold. I am thankful for your friendship. Don't know how god gave me a friend, a kind person like you.

I sometime cuddle the soft toy you had gifted me and muse how could you figure out what exactly I needed and when exactly I needed that! The thought of having a friend who knows you and understands you is very comforting. I also feel the mutual respect and appreciation that we seem to have for each other will make our bond even stronger in times to come! Cheers pretty woman - and leos do rock !!
