Empowered

I have failed the dare to depict woman empowerment in Japanese Style! Or at least for now - I am not being able to do much justice to the theme. But the dare made me think a lot about woman empowerment. I used to believe that empowerment is associated with power - something very strong - with deep impact. But on further thinking I started to realize that empowerment is a subtle thing - its like being in peace with herself, knowing and accepting her strengths and weaknesses, urges and inconsistencies, knowing her soul and striving to enrich that. I still wonder, where do education and economic independence fit in women empowerment, but loved one note from a friend which said tribal women are more empowered than we so called civilized ones - even if they do not have conventional education and much money !

Here is a quick attempt to paint a colored and dramatic portrait of a woman, who is just thinking! Being able to think is one sort of empowerment !
