The disturbing dream a few days ago involving a dead body, a cat and a camera is still haunting me - specially the camera, like somebody is watching me all the time! This is a very uncomfortable feeling - so much so that it has started to badly effect my motivation of painting even.
Now, after the painful experiences of past few months and series of bad decisions - when I am trying to bring my life back on track - and painting is my main instrument to repair my dented confidence - letting a stupid dream to disturb me to this extent was something I can not afford. So I decided to face my fear head on and attempted to paint a high-end camera.
Technically, the tips of using paper stumps to blend the pencil stokes, electric eraser to work on highlights, using a paint brush to brush off eraser dusts in stead of using hands and keeping a tissue paper underneath my hand to protect the details from smudging - came very handy. I know this has come out good. When you invest your honesty, passion, care and sincerity on your tools - they pay you back (unlike human, thankfully!).
Very detailed and perfect work.
