No, my fine liner has not yet arrived. But I am so excited about this new form of drawing that I can not wait. Knowing my nature, I am certain that this eagerness will soon evaporate. So capitalizing on the enthusiasm while it lasts, I am done with the second one of the line drawing series. 

 

While searching for some Rabindra Sangeet, I chanced upon the following one, and again entered an infinite loop of humming it and got so much engrossed that could not resist the idea and energy to interpret it in a painting. Yes, again, Rabindranath influenced me!

ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে পা দুখানি কোণে বসে কানাকানি, কভু হেসে কভু কেঁদে চেয়ে বসে রই।
ওলো সই, ওলো সই,আমার ইচ্ছা করে তোদের মতন মনের কথা কই।

 

This time I invested much time in detailing the panel and seems like improved a bit. The figures were simpler and bigger - hence came out more neat and clean than the previous one. I feel there should be something in the background too - window? book shelf ? in general, something which will make the painting look more compact without over powering it.
